Music Post!

Hey lovelies! So because I didnt do day 8 of the lolita challenge properly Im going to do a music post about some of my favourite bands! This is also dedicated to the lovely Churi Chan (http://lolitayoghurt.blogspot.com/) who is absolutely adorable and you should all check her out, shes such a sweetie!

I guess my this is gonna be sort of a list of my favourite music ^^ it'll be alphabetical (Im gonna go through my ipod ^^)

I wont put videos for all but Ill put a few through! I have a vast music taste so I wont be able to cover all but Ill give it a go!

1.) Alexisonfire

Ive loved Alexisonfire since their first self titled album, but if youre gonna start listening to them Id go for the Crisis album ^^ they also remind me of when I first met my boyfriend 7 years ago <3

I cried a bit when I heard them play this perfectly live!

2.) The Bled

The Bled were one of my transitional bands into heavier music, I still absolutely adore them and could listen through the Found in the Flood album over and over! I also adore their lyrics: "Cast as the role of a lover, and I feel slightly misplaced in a world thats fuck or be fucked" beautiful.

3.) Combichrist

Take me back to my cyber days! I love it when I hear them played in a club, I cant not dance!

4.) Cradle of Filth

Because they were the first metal band I ever really loved when I was about 13? I still have a crush on Dani Filth >.<

5.) Deftones

Their music s amazing when Im drawing, it just makes me go into a strange drifty mood! My Own Summer <3

6.) Dir en Grey

The only Jrock band I really adore. I saw them last year and it was just insane! the sounds that were coming out of Kyo were not even human! I love that he was stood on a crate, hes super tiny!!

7.) The Distillers

Brody Dalle. Enough said, I just love her!

8.) Gallows

Just insane live, wish I couldve seen them again before Frank Carter left :'(

9.) He is Legend

If this wasnt alphabetical, theyd be right near the top! This band really have shaped my music taste, and I love that their music changes from album to album. No one song will give you a good taster but heres my current favourite (also check out The Seduction!)

10.) Help She Cant Swim

For being silly and dancing around to ^^

11.) Korn

Saw them live this summer and Jonathons voice is just ridiculous! Didnt play my favourite song (evolution) though :(

12.) Lower Than Atlantis

Saw them this summer <3 they have my current favourite sad song aha!

13.) Machine head

SO GOOD

14.) Metronomy

because we all need a bit of upbeat electro every now and then ^^

15.) Nero

Throw some dubstep in here! My lovely boyfriend made a gaming montage and dedicated it to myself and some other friends with my favourite nero song in it (the first song ^^)

16.) Norma Jean

God so good. a band that has evolved and gotten better and better with every album!

17.) Placebo

No need to explain. Seeing Brian Molko looking beautiful and sinnging incredibly live made me and my friend Jessie shed a tear <3

18.) Queens of the Stoneage

So underrated! saw them at my first festival and it was pure magic!

19.) Rammstein

Best live band of my life to date ^^

20.) Scarling

I love Jessicka, and I love Scarling as much if not more than Jack off Jill

21.) The Smiths

because I grew up listening to Morisseys beautiful voice on vinyl ^^

22.) The XX

so beautiful. My painting music

23.) The Yeah Yeah Yeahs

ultimate love song, Maps <333

24.) 36 Crazyfists

because theyre me and my best friend Peejs ultimate sing a long band ^^

so there we go. My top24..? Strange number to leave it at! It will bug me the bands Ive missed and well done if you made it this far ^^

Day 10 – What’s in Your Bag?

Ooops Ive been very bad in keeping up with this! Ive been so busy helping with petitions to help get the bees that killed our beautiful Sara removed that Ive neglected this a bit. Ill do it as much as I can! (See last blog post for more information on sara and please sign the petition here: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/gsd_sara_andover/)

On to todays challenge!

My bag and contents:

1.) My HK headphones. I prefer big headphones because I find small ones fall out due to my tragus piercing. The sound quality is also so, so much better through these!

2.) Jagermeister lanyard. This is usually at the bottom of my bag because I need it when Im at work (I work on a bar)

3.) My Pauls Boutique purse <333 I have the matching bag too! I must make a sailor lolita outfit and use it in my coord soon.

4.) My favourite spray in the world! Its all vanilla and yummy ^^

5.) Vaseline and Lip Smackers pinky liquid lip gloss. I usually have atleast two lipglosses in the bottom of my bag ^^

6.) Hello Kitty lighter. I smoke, I know so not rori right? Idc

7.) Gum, I have paranoia about my teeth so i always chew gum after meals if I cant brush them

8.) Book, I nearly always have one with me!

Yayayay :D

My laptop was delivered today, they fixed it so quickly! Ive lost everything, but thankfully its not term time so its only annoying because Ill have to redo my itunes really, at least I havent lost anything of great importance.

This also means I can go back to lots of pictures without the weird formatting issues!

Today Im going to show you my outfit and makeup from yesterday!

I tried something a little more gothic. What do you think?

I liked wearing a corset with lolita.

I tried to make my eyeliner a little more gyaru inspired, so my eyes look nice and big even though its not quite obvious its supposed to be gyaru!

I used the purple and gold shadow to try and give it a more decadent feel, as well as lower and top false lashes.

And a couple more outfit shots ^^

Day 9 – 10 Things You Will Never Do in Lolita.

Ill do it properly today hehe ^^

1.) Eat spaghetti! For obvious reasons >.> Im a messy eater!

2.) Go clubbing. Hot, sweaty, spilt drinks, and I love to dance and dont want to be restricted.

3.) Go to a theme park. Wet dress, ruined hair and make up and a miserably flat petti by the end of the day!

4.) Go to a gig/ festival for afore mentionned reasons

5.) Any form of art besides drawing with pencil

I cant think of anymore! I might update this later ^^

Day 8! But Im going to rebel....

Hello sweeties! So today is Day 8 – 10 songs that inspire you for lolita.

But Im not going to do todays challenge, I dont really listen to anything that inspires me more in lolita than anywhere else!

I dont particularly love jrock/ jpop that much, in fact the only visual band I really enjoy is Dir en Grey. I listen to metal (All kinds), some indie and electro, older music (the smiths, the cure, siouxsie and the banshees etc) and when Im working Im forced to listen to pop.

So Im going to leave this one.

You can have some new Bexy pictures instead hehe ^^

Cant wait to get my laptop back, this one makes my format weird and makes pictures 10x harder!

Technology and Bexys arent friends :(

Hello lovelies! And to any new followers, thank you! I hope you'll enjoy my blog ^^

For now I'm afraid I have some bad news...

My new laptop, the one I've had for less than three months... Has already failed. When I start it up it doesn't even recognise it has a hard drive Q.Q just my luck!!

So I'm afraid the Lolita 30 Day Challenge will be on hold for a little while so I can make my posts interesting and picture filled ^^

hopefully this should be sorted in a couple of days!
